The ACO Cornhole Classic is in the history books!!

Despite the weather and having to move next door to make this event happen we managed to get it done!! We had a few visitors come down and play this past weekend. Darin Hill(#1 seed), Brandon Hill, and none other than Jack Stagge(the man who beat matt guy on fountain square a month ago). Darin Hill was knocked out 1st round of the bracket, by new comer Jimmy Stowe, in a 3 game nail biter. Jack Stagge was down 1 game and down 19-5 in the 2nd before putting the stagge hammer down and coming back to defeat josh bailey(another 1st time topgun player) in the match of 3. Brandon and Jack ran out of steam in the final 8. Jack being defeated by Jason Schwab and Hill defeated by Justin Cook. The rest of the matches all pretty much went 3 games and were very tight. It all came down to Justin Cook vs. Jason"The Rooster" Schwab

ACO STORM HITS COLUMBIA, SC!!

The ACO hit the Carolina Ale House this past saturday with a huge response!! Thank you to the Carolina Ale House for letting us have this event at this location. Thank you to everyone that showed up, supported and played in this event. Columbia has shown that there are plenty of up and coming cornhole players in the area! We cant wait for the next one!!

Saturday jan. 24th 2009 @ Sams Town Casino. Matt Guy 3 peats, being the King Of Cornhole 2006, 2007, and now 2008. Congrats Matt!! This weekend was an epic moment for the A.C.O!! There were over 200 participants and spectators that came out from all over the country to attend and play in this event!! After attending this event this weekend, A.C.O South Carolina is so excited at what is in store for the 2009 season and the future growth of the A.C.O.

We would like to thank everyone that came out and supported this event in Albemarle, N.C., especially the Strike Zone Bowling Alley for giving us such a killer venue. This was the first time that A.C.O South Carolina has ran an event in this area. Im here to tell you that that every team in this event was good!! None the less, this tournament was very intimate and was one of the most enjoyable to watch. we had 9 players from 6 different counties of north and south carolina show up to compete in this top gun event. There were 5 players that were A.C.O ranked pro or semi pro, making this a t4 level tournament.
